This is a somewhat sophisticated gig at a lovely location overlooking Hull Bay Beach. The grand piano makes a statement immediately upon entering. I'll be playing mostly jazz early on and then may pick it up depending on the vibe. A couple of fine singers may stop by, as well as other musicians ! The food here is excellent, and the staff is great !! |

This is an open-air venue with a nice vibe! Lot's of really fine music has been made here over the years! The crowd is mostly local, the food is real good, and the staff is great!! What's not to like?

We usually have fun at this gig and yes,-the fun factor does count! The crowd here is mostly local and the beach too, is primarily a locals beach -surfers like this bay. The food is bar fare with some suprises, and the staff tries--but usually appears to be "overwhelmed'?? Everybody loves Frank and Mimi- the proprietors, and we're honored to play our music here!!

This video brings back many fond memories. Barry is one of the most inspirational and unforgettable people Ive ever met! I’ve had the good fortune to study, travel and perform with him and his Jazz Chorus from 1997 to 2001. Hangin with Barry was one of those life-changing experiences for me ! The wisdom gained goes way beyond music. Barry’s love of teaching and his magnetic personality draw a special group of people – it becomes more like a family. Studying with Barry has made me a better person, as well as a better musician !!
