This upcoming concert promises to be exciting. There are 2 amazing teenagers from Charlotte Amalie High School playing jazz of a sophisticated nature at a fairly high level! If anybody from tourism is reading this there is a great story here. After all these are local youths from the public high school and this speaks very well for our music program. The septet will be ‘on the green” at Yachthaven Grande across from Wikked Restaurant. The personnel consists of Jonte Samual on sax, Malachi Thomas on sax, Dale Harrigan on trumptet, Ras Abijah on guitar, Rhett Simmonds on bass, Paul Deaton on drums and myself on piano.
